Theological Commitments

Grounded in Scripture & Sound Theology

GBABC subscribers share a common theological foundation that shapes how we counsel, supervise, and serve.

Scripture

The Old and New Testaments are inspired by God and the trustworthy, authoritative written norm for faith and life, interpreted responsibly.

God

One God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — perfect in holiness, justice, wisdom, love, and mercy.

Humanity

Human beings are created in God’s image, possess inherent dignity, are embodied and relational, and are accountable to God.

Sin & Suffering

Sin corrupts persons and systems. Suffering may involve personal sin, others' sin, illness, trauma, loss, injustice, or life in a fallen world.

Christ & Salvation

Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human. Through his life, atoning death, bodily resurrection, and reign, God provides redemption by grace through faith.

Spirit & Sanctification

The Holy Spirit applies Christ’s work and forms believers through Scripture, prayer, the church, and ordinary means of grace.

Core Values

What We Stand For

Biblical Fidelity

Scripture handled contextually and canonically — not as slogans or coercive proof texts.

Educational Rigor

Degrees, certificates, supervised practice, and continuing education are verified.

Human Dignity

Every person bears God’s image and deserves safety, truthfulness, respect, and compassion.

Competence & Humility

Subscribers disclose limitations, consult, and refer when indicated.

Accountability

Credentials carry review, conflicts, documentation, and discipline obligations.

Restoration & Safety

Restoration never bypasses reporting, protection, consequences, or prudent boundaries.

Care That Is Measured — Because People Are What Matter

Restoring Hope Ministries tracks the well-being of every participant in our clinical and faith-based services using empirically validated screeners, clinical interviews, behavioral analysis, and self-report — so we can honestly see whether the people we serve are getting better. This rigor reflects the training of our founder, Dr. Gross, whose clinical psychology education and practical training at the Medical College of Wisconsin prepared him for this type of organization and care.
