The Integration of Practical and Spiritual Care
James asks: "If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, 'Go in peace, be warmed and filled,' without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that?" (James 2:15–16).
Genuine care for a whole person cannot ignore practical needs. A person who is homeless, hungry, or without medical care cannot receive biblical counseling in any meaningful way until basic needs are stabilized. RHM's social work services exist at exactly this intersection — meeting people where they are, removing the practical barriers to healing, and creating the space for soul care to take root.
Our social workers are not simply case managers — they are missionaries of compassion, carrying the love of Christ into the most complicated and painful places in people's lives.
Case Management
Coordinating access to housing, food, utilities, medical care, transportation, and other practical resources for individuals and families in crisis.
Crisis Intervention
Immediate support for people in acute distress — connecting them with safety resources, shelter, and stabilization services.
AODA Assessment & Referral
Full ASAM assessment, SBIRT screening, and referral coordination for individuals struggling with alcohol and other drug dependency.
Child & Family Support
Faith-informed support for families navigating child welfare, foster care, family preservation, and parenting challenges.
Benefits Navigation
Helping individuals and families access public benefits they are entitled to — SNAP, Medicaid, housing assistance, disability, and more.
Community Referral Network
RHM maintains relationships with a wide network of community providers — ensuring that clients are connected to the right level of care for every need.
