Residential Recovery

The Vision Behind The 120 House

The 120 House is RHM's residential recovery initiative — a place of shelter, structure, spiritual formation, and community for those on the long road out of addiction and homelessness.

Acts 1:15

Why "120"?

The name comes from the 120 disciples who gathered in the upper room before Pentecost (Acts 1:15). They came from different places, with different stories, bound together by a common surrender to the risen Christ and a common waiting on the Spirit. The 120 House aspires to be that kind of community: a gathering of the broken who have chosen to surrender to God, wait together, and be transformed by the Spirit of Christ.

Galatians 6:1–2

A Community of Recovery

Recovery from addiction — real recovery, not just sobriety — requires more than willpower. It requires community. It requires people who know your story, who will not let you disappear, who will sit with you in the hard moments and celebrate with you in the breakthroughs. The 120 House is designed to be that community: structured, accountable, spiritually rich, and genuinely relational.

Isaiah 58:6–7

Meeting Body and Soul

People in recovery need more than spiritual counsel. They need housing. They need stability. They need food, medical care, and practical support as their lives are being rebuilt. The 120 House holds both: the physical infrastructure of a safe, sober-living environment alongside the spiritual infrastructure of biblical counseling, worship, community, and mentorship.

"Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke?"

— Isaiah 58:6
