Board Governance and Accountability Structure

Board of Directors & Accountability Board

Restoring Hope Ministries is guided by a dedicated team of faithful servants who prayerfully make decisions in accordance with God’s Word. Our Board of Directors and Accountability Board ensure the ministry operates with integrity, aligns with the Great Commission, and honors Jesus Christ in all its endeavors.

About Our Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is a working board responsible for oversight of daily operations, strategic planning, and ensuring the ministry fulfills its mission. Each member is expected to uphold the biblical principles of service, prayer, and supplication:

“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” — Proverbs 16:3
“Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.” — Philippians 2:3

Board Member Requirements

To serve on the Board of Directors, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Faithful Servant of Christ Jesus: A personal relationship with the Lord and a commitment to make decisions prayerfully and humbly.
  • Ministry/Non-Profit Experience: Prior experience in ministry or non-profit work is essential.
  • Professional Expertise:
    o Attorney (for legal guidance)
o Accountants (minimum of two for financial oversight)
o Real Estate Agent (to assist with ministry property needs)
o Community/Government Experience: Someone with a background in serving the public sector.
o Pastors: Must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in theology.
o Biblical Counselors: Counselors from other churches or ministries are welcome, strengthening the body of Christ.

“Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” — Romans 12:4-5
